TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR EXHIBITORS
- Seafood Expo Bharat will be organized in Chennai Trade Center, Chennai, India from 1st–3rd July 2026. The event will be from 10:00 a.m. to 6.00 pm on 1st and 2nd July and from 10:00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. on 3rd July 2026.
- The inauguration is at 10 am on 1st July 2026 in Chennai Trade Center, Chennai, India.
- The Exhibitors shall adhere to the exhibition manual available on the Website: www.seafoodexpobharat.com
- Registration for the space should be made online. The Organizers reserve the right to refuse any application for space without giving reasons. The organizers reserve the right to make such changes in stall position, site layout, floor plan, and other details as they consider fit in the overall interest and safety precautions of the exhibition and adhere to the norms of the local governing body. MPEDA have the complete right to relocate the stalls within a particular hall or among different halls based on the nature of the business involved.
- Exhibitors may book any number of stalls. Stalls will be allotted on a first-come-first-served basis.
- GST applicable will be additional to the fees mentioned. For the stall registration within Tamil Nadu, the GST should be in SGST(9%) & CGST(9%), whereas for the stalls outside Tamil Nadu, it should be IGST(18%).
- The fee once paid will not be refunded.
- The Organizers will provide standard fascia with a company name for the shell scheme.
- The shell scheme stall will be handed over to the exhibitors at 10.00 a.m. on 30th June 2026. The stall once allotted is not transferable.
- No Exhibitor will be permitted to install exhibits or displays in such a manner as, in the sole opinion of the Organizers, obstructs the light or impedes the view along open spaces. The passage must be kept clear and must not be littered or obstructed in any way.
- No nails, screws, bolts, or other fixtures may be driven into any part of the Venue, including floors. Nor may any part of the Venue be damaged or disfigured in any way. If any damages occur, the Exhibitor responsible shall be directly liable for any reparation charges incurred by the Venue owners.
- Exhibitors must not canvas or distribute advertising or promotional matter in any part of the Venue, except near their stands. Furthermore, an Exhibitor must undertake to withdraw any advertising matter at the Exhibition to which the Organizers may reasonably object on the grounds of legality, decency, or honesty, nor may use any audio-visual system that would in the opinion of the Organizers cause annoyance or disturbance to others.
- The Exhibitor shall be liable to pay for any damages caused to the stall or equipment allotted to him. Any such damage shall be assessed by the organizers and their decision on the charges to be paid by the exhibitor shall be final.
- 3 free exhibitor passes will be provided per 9 sq m stall booked.
- For each 3x3 m shell scheme stall, one counter table, one round table, 3 chairs, one power outlet (5A, 230 V), three spotlights, and one waste basket.
- 25 free passes for one-time entry will be provided to each exhibitor.
- Exhibitors opting for raw space need to inform the Organizers by 15th June 2026 along with a layout plan for approval.
- Exhibitors can order additional furniture/other items/additional electricity requirements directly with the official stall contractor. Extra charges apply for additional requirements.
- For raw space, the stall will be handed over to the Exhibitors on 29/06/2026 at 10.00 am and for the shell scheme, the stall will be handed over to the Exhibitor on 30/06/2026 by 2:00 pm.
- Heavy machinery for display needs to be placed inside on or before 29/06/2026 by 03.00 pm.
- Furnishing of stall shall be completed and all materials that are not for use should be removed before 07:00 pm on 30-06-2026.
- A penalty of ₹5000 (~58.59 US$) per hour will be charged for any delay beyond the prescribed time limits set for completion of stall construction and clearing as per clause no. 21 above.
- The name of the Exhibitor registered on or before 15th June 2026 only will be published in the show catalogue.
- Show Timings: 10:00 am–06:00 pm (1st & 2nd July), 10:00 am–04:00 pm (3rd July 2026).
- Stall Delegates are entitled to participate in the technical sessions arranged by the Organizers.
- Exhibitors should participate in the show without causing any disturbance to neighboring stalls.
- Any cultural performance within the booth is to be limited within the scope of the show, that too with prior permission from the organizer.
- Confirmation of Stall reservations will be sent by E-mail/message.
- Though the fair authorities will be providing general security, the fair authorities will not be responsible for any damage/loss of any article/property kept in the stall.
- All products shall be exhibited only within the stall.
- The Organizers reserve the right to make such changes in stall position, site layout, floor plan, and other details as they consider fit in the overall interest and safety precautions of the exhibition and adhering to the norms of the Local Governing body.
- Security will be provided at the absolute discretion of the Organizers but the organizer will not be responsible for any damage/loss of any article/property kept in the stall.
- The Organizers will be responsible at all times for the control of the exhibition area. The Exhibitor is responsible for their materials, equipment, and other possessions as well as for the supervision of their promotional activities and their employees, contractors, suppliers, and agents. The Organizer’s decision must be accepted as final.
- Jurisdiction in any case of dispute will be Ernakulam, Kerala, India.
- In the event of any occurrence not foreseen in these rules and regulations, the decision of the Organizer shall be final.
